India’s three-wheeler market recorded a total volume of 106,908 units in April 2026, with Bajaj Auto maintaining a commanding lead by securing nearly 37% of the market (39,527 units)—nearly four times the volume of its nearest rival. The Mahindra Group held second place with 10,855 units (~10.15% share), driven primarily by its Last Mile Mobility arm, followed by established players Piaggio (8,078 units) and TVS Motor (5,373 units).
Notably, the "Others including EV" segment accounted for nearly a third of total sales at 34,701 units (32.46%), highlighting a highly fragmented landscape with strong regional penetration from local e-rickshaw and electric three-wheeler manufacturers.
