Agricultural Infra Fund Deployment Amount Statewise

India’s agricultural infrastructure landscape, is spearheaded by the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), since its launch in FY 2020–21. The AIF scheme has steadily gained momentum, creating measurable impact across rural India.
As of 31 August 2025, AIF has facilitated the sanction of ₹71,650 crore across 1,23,397 projects. These encompass a wide spectrum of beneficiaries—ranging from farmers and agri-entrepreneurs to PACS, startups, FPOs, and SHGs—and have collectively mobilized an impressive ₹1,15,097 crore in agricultural investment.

The sanctioned amounts from AIF Fund across Indian states show notable monthly fluctuations during 2025.
Punjab’s approvals peaked at ₹383 crore in July 2025, reflecting strong seasonal demand, while Maharashtra displayed similar volatility, reaching a high of ₹476 crore in July after dipping to ₹108 crore in April. Uttar Pradesh showed a declining trend, from ₹599 crore in January to ₹137 crore by August.
Meanwhile, the rest of India (excluding these states) consistently accounted for the largest share, peaking at ₹2,904 crore in January.
Total Pan India sanctions moved from ₹4,308 crore in January 2025 to ₹1,696 crore in August 2025, indicating a mid-year slowdown followed by regional concentration of lending activities.
